Five reasons to elope in New England - Brooke Ellen Photography

Number one…four seasons!  I have fully come to appreciate the change of the season, I love all four of them and think each is beautiful.  I also love snowy elopements, there’s something about fresh, clean, bright snow that makes for some beautiful photos!

Number 2…peace and quiet!  There are some popular elopement locations that are a hub of activity….but lots of spots in New England are peaceful.  You can hike down to a stream in Vermont, dip your toes in the water, and not see a single person.

Number 3!  Drama, New England is absolutely beautiful and so versatile!  We have mountains, beaches, waterfalls, forests.  The possibilities are endless!

Number 4  Sunsets!  New England sunsets are amazing, maybe I am a little biased 🙂  We also have the first place that the sun rises in North America!

Number five…all of the outdoors activities!  Seriously, the day before our wedding, we hike Monadnock with our families.  People went kayaking, fishing, swimming, and star gazing the week of our wedding…it was such a fun, adventurous week for us and all of our wedding guests!
