Allie and Matt faced the same dilemma that so many couples had faced this year with Covid, they had to decide to postpone their wedding or try to work their original wedding vision into the state’s guidelines for events during this pandemic. They chose to reschedule from their original date and move the ceremony to a backyard one during the summer so they could have their guests outside as much as possible. As luck would have it, their wedding day started with rain and cloudy skies, but just in time for their first look the rain finally stopped…and the rest of the day we were able to be outside and even saw some sun! Their family and friends all worked together to create such a beautiful space that was so full of their personalities and had so many little details. I hope this wedding can inspire some brides who are feeling disappointed that you can have a beautiful backyard wedding in the midst of a pandemic…even with some rain 🙂
