Last winter Alison and I put our minds together to create an epic adventure elopement shoot. We set out to research epic waterfall locations in Massachusetts, and both of us were in love with Bash Bish Falls…it was a fairly easy hike to get to, and had amazing waterfall views. We absolutely loved the colors of the water and the dark greens of the pines that surrounded the area. It felt like it belonged in Washington or Oregon, right here in New England. Once we had picked out our location, we set out to look for a bohemian dress. We were both drawn to Reclamation, they are hand crafted lace gowns…and each one is unique. You can actually rent these gowns, which is the perfect option for an elopement! Pam from KissandMakeup put together a romantic, boho makeup and hair look for us. She created a stunning fish tail braid with greens in it and soft makeup look with a bold lip. Our flowers were eco friendly, hand crafted wood flower creations. This is a great option for leave no trace, you won’t have to worry about leaving blooms behind that accidentally fall out of your bouquet and you can keep it for years to come!
